I am devastated to hear about the sad demise yesterday, of Piyush Pandey.
The man who gave Indian advertising it's tenor and voice.
The man who enchanted us with timeless advertising from Titan, Fevicol, Cadbury, Asian Paints and so many other iconic brands.
The man who found song and soul in every piece of Indian soil.

The man who taught me that human emotion was at the core of all great communication.
The man with the moustache, whose zest for life came alive so often (including in that lovely, long dinner that my wife Veena and I had with him one evening in Kolkata, which we will never forget.)
The man I am so proud to call my friend forever.
Farewell, Piyush. I am overcome by great sadness today.
And yet, I would also like to celebrate the life that you have lived so well, by your own rules.
Rest in peace, my friend.
