Deeply saddened by the passing of Piyush Pandey, a man who was not just an advertising legend but the beating heart of Indian creativity. His work didn’t just sell brands; it shaped the way a nation expressed itself and redefined the language of emotion in communication.
I first met Piyush in 2008, a grounded man with a towering reputation, as humble in person as he was larger-than-life in his ideas. Over the past 17 years, every conversation with him has been a masterclass in storytelling, brimming with wit, warmth, and wisdom. His ability to draw from the small moments of life and turn them into timeless stories was nothing short of magic.

I was fortunate to meet him just four months ago at Cannes 2025, animated as ever, brimming with ideas, laughter, and unshakable passion for creativity. It’s hard to believe he’s gone.
Rest in peace, Piyush. Your voice, humour, and humanity will echo through every campaign and every creative mind you inspired. You will be deeply missed, always.
