India’s greatest adman, Piyush Pandey, passed away today, leaving behind a legacy that shaped the very language of Indian advertising. From the timeless “Kuch Khaas Hai” for Cadbury to the powerful “Ab Ki Baar, Modi Sarkar,” his work defined emotion, culture, and connection.


As the first Asian to chair the Cannes Lions jury, he proved that Indian creativity could rule the global stage while staying rooted in its soul.


For me and for so many others; Piyush Pandey wasn’t just an advertising legend, but the reason we dared to dream of entering this world. He taught us that great ideas don’t shout, they speak from the heart.


Rest in peace, sir; your words and wisdom will forever inspire generations to come.
