The advertising world has lost one of its brightest stars. Piyush Pandey, the creative genius and legendary Chief Creative Officer Worldwide and Executive Chairman India of Ogilvy, passed away at the age of 70. Known for transforming Indian advertising with his wit, insight, and human touch, Pandey’s legacy transcends campaigns—he inspired generations of creatives and left an indelible mark on the industry.
In his honor, business leader Shubhranshu Singh penned a moving tribute:
“Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.”

As you’d have said, Piyush “See you partner!”
Every man is mortal clay.
But, Piyush’s work and his memory will live FOREVER.
