ABP News has issued a public apology after acknowledging that a report concerning folk singer Neha Singh Rathore, carried on ABP Network’s digital platform, was factually incorrect.

In a clarification posted on its official X account on October 17, the network expressed regret over the erroneous report and apologised for the lapse, according to Samachar4media.

The clarification followed objections from Rathore, who accused the channel of publishing content that damaged her dignity and reputation. In posts on X, she alleged that the coverage sought to portray her in a derogatory manner because she questioned the government.

Rathore also tagged the National Commission for Women, asking whether it would take notice of the matter. She maintained that the issue would not end there.

ABP’s statement acknowledged the factual error and expressed regret over the report.
