Hero MotoCorp has appointed Shivalika Chadha Malik as Head of Communications - External and Internal, overseeing both India and global markets. In her new role, Malik will lead the company’s communications strategy at a time when the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters continues to evolve its global presence and purpose-led initiatives.
Announcing her move on LinkedIn, Malik expressed enthusiasm about joining the organisation. “Hero MotoCorp is not just an iconic brand but a company with a deep sense of purpose, scale and responsibility. And I am excited to contribute towards shaping its narrative at such a transformative time,” she wrote. She added that she is looking forward to working with the team to “build stories of trust, values and impact.”
Prior to joining Hero MotoCorp, Malik spent six years at PepsiCo, where she last served as Associate Director - Brand Communications for the AMESA region (Africa, Middle East and South Asia). She began her journey at PepsiCo as Senior Manager - Communications for PepsiCo India and went on to take on expanded regional responsibilities.
Earlier in her career, Malik has worked with leading communications firms including Avian Media and The PRactice. With over two decades of experience across corporate and brand communications, she brings deep expertise in reputation management, storytelling and integrated communications to her new role at Hero MotoCorp.
