Poorva Bhatikar has been elevated to Industry Head for Auto at Google India. She shared the news of her new role through a LinkedIn post.
Prior to this, Bhatikar held the role of Industry Manager at the company. She has been associated with Google India for 6 years.
“Taking a moment to share that I'm taking on a new position as the Industry Head for Auto, Google India. The vehicle buying journey is evolving rapidly, fueled by AI; and I look forward to partnering with some of our premier Auto customers to bring them the best of Google in 2026”, the LinkedIn post read.
In her previous stint, Poorva Bhatikar has worked with Disney+ Hotstar where she was responsible for acquiring and retaining a niche but affluent segment of consumers in US, UK and Canada while planning for launch in new markets.
Before that, she worked with Mattel Toys India and Reliance Broadband Network, among others.
