Between 15 March and 27 April 2026, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Trinamool Congress (TMC), along with associated campaign networks, spent a combined Rs 31.57 crore on digital advertising across Google and Meta platforms.
The BJP spent around Rs 12.53 crore on Google, running over 8,000 ads through its West Bengal-related pages during the period.
On Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, the party’s main West Bengal page spent about Rs 4.11 crore. Additional spending from several constituency-level pages added roughly Rs 34 lakh, taking its total Meta spend to around Rs 4.45 crore.
TMC, along with its associated network including the Indian Political Action Committee, spent about Rs 10.55 crore on Google, running over 1,100 ads.
In total, BJP’s digital ad spend stood at approximately Rs 16.98 crore, while TMC and its network spent about Rs 14.59 crore, bringing combined expenditure to nearly Rs 31.57 crore.
On Meta, spending was spread across multiple official and affiliated pages, together amounting to around Rs 4.04 crore.
