Former NDTV journalist Sanket Upadhyay may launch a new media company. It has been learnt from credible sources that Sanket Upadhyay is working to launch an independent and new YouTube platform.
The exact name, date of launch and scope of work is not known yet.
Sanket Upadhyay had, after quitting NDTV, confounded a digital media entity called The Red Mike.
However, last year, he resigned as Director from the company and took a break, citing ‘personal reasons’.
This would mark his return to the screen for his Hindi audience after a gap of almost 4 months.
Sanket has already made an official announcement on his other gigs, which includes writing opinion pieces for Amar Ujala, and doing a weekly show in English for a national English media group - The Federal.
The English show, we have learnt, shall continue - while his new media company might focus on the Hindi audience.
Sanket Upadhyay has been a bilingual journalist with over 24 years of experience in the profession.
His last TV media stint saw him presenting the oldest running prime time news shows on both NDTV 24x7 and NDTV India.
