NDTV has appointed Ramarko Sengupta as its AI Editor, strengthening the network's focus on integrating artificial intelligence into its newsroom operations.
Sengupta brings more than 20 years of experience across digital, television, print, and wire journalism. Before joining NDTV, he was Associate Editor for the B2B verticals at The Economic Times.
Earlier, he worked at YourStory, where he led editorial and brand solutions content. He has also managed the business and automobile sections at The Times of India Online, gaining extensive experience in digital journalism and content strategy.
In his new role at NDTV, Sengupta will lead the use of AI across editorial processes, helping improve newsroom workflows and enhance storytelling through technology.
Commenting on the appointment, Rahul Kanwal, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of NDTV, said artificial intelligence is changing the way news is discovered, produced, and delivered.
