- NDTV has appointed Ramarko Sengupta as its AI Editor, bringing over 20 years of experience in various journalism sectors, including digital, television, print, and wire.
- Previously, he served as Associate Editor at The Economic Times' B2B verticals and led editorial content at YourStory, as well as business and auto verticals at The Times of India Online.
- In his new role, Sengupta will focus on integrating AI into NDTV's editorial workflows and storytelling processes.
- CEO Rahul Kanwal emphasized the importance of intelligent information processing in journalism, while Sengupta highlighted the potential of AI to enhance storytelling depth and relevance.

Ramarko has over two decades of experience across digital, television, print, and wire journalism.
He was most recently Associate Editor at The Economic Times’ B2B verticals.
Prior to this, at YourStory, he led editorial and brand solutions content.
His earlier roles include leading business and auto verticals at The Times of India Online.
At NDTV, he will lead the integration of AI into editorial workflows and storytelling.
