  • WPP is currently the leading contender for Raymond Lifestyle's integrated creative and media mandate, valued at over ₹300 crore, following a review initiated by the company over two months ago.
  • The review aims to consolidate creative and media responsibilities under one agency, with Madison World serving as the incumbent agency.
  • Raymond Lifestyle has engaged AT Kearney to manage the pitch process and evaluate participating agencies based on their integrated marketing capabilities and other criteria.
  • The company seeks to enhance its marketing strategy and brand identities across its portfolio, which includes brands like Raymond, Park Avenue, and ColorPlus, while focusing on premiumization and digital engagement.

WPP has emerged as the frontrunner for Raymond Lifestyle’s ₹300-crore-plus integrated creative and media mandate, multiple industry sources told exchange4media.

This development comes over two months after Raymond Lifestyle initiated a review of its integrated agency business, consolidating creative and media responsibilities under one mandate. Madison World is the incumbent agency.

Sources familiar with the developments said WPP is currently ahead in the race, although a formal announcement is yet to be made.

exchange4media reached out to WPP, Raymond Lifestyle and Madison World for confirmation and comments. The story will be updated as responses are received.

In July, exchange4media reported that Raymond Lifestyle had invited several leading advertising and media agencies to participate in the review. The mandate is estimated to be worth over ₹300 crore and spans creative strategy and execution, media planning and buying, digital communications and integrated brand-building responsibilities across the company’s portfolio.

The company subsequently appointed global management consulting firm AT Kearney to oversee the review, including managing the pitch process, evaluating participating agencies and advising Raymond Lifestyle on the final selection. Agencies were expected to be assessed across integrated marketing capabilities, data-driven planning, commerce, consumer experience and brand transformation.

The review comes as Raymond Lifestyle sharpens its marketing strategy under CEO Satyaki Ghosh and CMO Kalpana Singh. The company has been looking to build differentiated identities across brands including Raymond, Park Avenue, ColorPlus and Raymond Ready-to-Wear while strengthening premiumization, omnichannel marketing and digital engagement.

Raymond Lifestyle’s portfolio also includes Parx and Ethnix, alongside its premium shirting and suiting fabrics business and a large fashion retail network. According to the company’s FY26 annual report, as previously reported by exchange4media, advertising and sales promotion expenditure stood at ₹322.91 crore for the year ended March 31, 2026.

If WPP eventually bags the mandate, it would bring one of the larger integrated advertising accounts in India’s fashion and lifestyle sector under the network.

e4m has reached out to Raymond Lifestyle, WPP and Madison but no one has denied or confirmed the development at the time of publishing.
