Senior journalist and prime-time anchor Rubika Liyaquat has moved on from Times Now Navbharat, according to sources familiar with the development.
Liyaquat had joined the Hindi news channel in June 2026 as Senior Executive Editor – TNNB and Vice President – Special Projects. She was based out of the network’s Noida office and had taken charge of key editorial responsibilities, including the channel’s prime-time show News Ki Pathshala.

Her departure comes a little over three months after she joined the Times Network.
Liyaquat had moved to Times Now Navbharat following her exit from News18 India, where she was associated as Consulting Editor and Prime-Time Anchor. She had left News18 India in May 2026 before beginning her stint with Times Network the following month.
A prominent face in Hindi television news, Liyaquat has close to two decades of experience spanning broadcast journalism, political reporting, prime-time anchoring and newsroom leadership. Over the years, she has worked with several leading news organisations, including ABP News, Zee News, News24, Bharat24, Live India and News18 India.
Prior to News18 India, Liyaquat was associated with Bharat24. She had earlier spent more than five years with ABP News before moving on from the network in 2023.
Details regarding Liyaquat’s next professional move are not known yet.
