The Hindi daily Dainik Jagran organised the ‘Gyanvritti Samman’ and ‘Kriti Samman’ ceremony under its ‘Hindi Hain Hum’ campaign at the India International Centre (IIC) in New Delhi. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Harivansh Narayan Singh, who lauded the initiative.

In a post on social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), Singh said the initiative aimed at giving a new dimension to knowledge traditions, research traditions, and literary writing is both meaningful and commendable. He also expressed gratitude to the Jagran family for the invitation.

In another post, he noted that a seminar was also held during the event to mark 200 years of Hindi journalism, where discussions were held on the present and future of Hindi journalism.

Notably, through its ‘Hindi Hain Hum’ campaign, Dainik Jagran continues to provide a platform for issues related to Hindi language, literature, and journalism, while promoting the wider reach of the language.
