ITV Network has promoted senior journalist Rakesh Kumar Singh, giving him the role of Managing Editor at its Hindi news channel, India News.
Singh previously served as Managing Editor (Input), overseeing content planning and inputs for all ITV Network platforms, including India News, NewsX, regional channels, the website, and newspapers. He has been with ITV Network for over a decade.
Singh has extensive experience covering Parliament, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Home Ministry, the External Affairs Ministry, and several other key government departments. A journalist with more than 20 years of experience, Singh has covered central Indian politics, including the BJP, Congress, Left parties, and various national parties, along with reporting on different central ministries.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Sahara Samay, P7, and Zee Media.
