Network18 has unveiled a reshuffle in its top management, marking a clear move toward a new generation of leadership.
In an internal note, Managing Director Rahul Joshi shared the revised structure.
Under the new setup, Smriti Mehra, S Shivakumar and Mitul Sangani will report directly to the Group leadership, joining Ganesh Iyer and Abhinay Chauhan in the core leadership framework.
As part of the changes, Prabhat Chatterjee, who heads Forbes as Business Head, and Arun Thapar, President of AETN-18, will now come under Smriti Mehra’s supervision to strengthen revenue growth and product development. Mallika Nath Handa will also be part of Mehra’s team, where she will handle special assignments and non-linear businesses.
Meanwhile, Sidharth Newatia, Chief Revenue Officer for ILC, and Pankaj Soni, Head of Marketing for ILC, will report to Mitul Sangani. Their focus will be on expanding audience reach and boosting revenues across Hindi and regional markets, especially in Tier-II and Tier-III towns. In another key move, Moneycontrol’s branded content operations are being integrated with News18 Studio, and Don Zarrar will work alongside S Shivakumar to manage the combined business.
Pranav Bakshi is being given an expanded mandate, adding international operations to his portfolio while continuing to drive growth across Social and Connected TV. On the technology side, Puneet Singhvi will now lead Broadcast Technology, IT and Security, with Rajesh Sharma, Rahul Singh and Bhupender Bhardwaj reporting into him.
Additionally, Darshil Parekh, Head of Sales Strategy, will work closely with the executive office to improve alignment across business teams. Jitamitra Mohanty, meanwhile, will partner with Santosh Menon to ensure audience insights are more effectively converted into content strategy.
