Hollywood film Avatar: Fire and Ash has been featured across Bengaluru’s Namma Metro, with themed visuals seen on select metro trains and station panels in the city.
The Bengaluru Metro placements come after an earlier instance involving Netflix’s Stranger Things, which had appeared across parts of the Delhi Metro with show-related visuals placed within the transit network. That exercise had drawn attention for bringing international entertainment properties into high-footfall public transport spaces.

In Bengaluru, the Avatar: Fire and Ash visuals were displayed through static placements, including exterior train wraps and station-level panels. The branding was visible across operational routes during regular commuter hours, placing the film’s imagery within the daily travel environment of metro users.
Metro systems in major Indian cities have increasingly been used as sites for film and series-related visibility, owing to their scale, daily ridership and sustained exposure. Such placements allow entertainment titles to be present within public infrastructure without relying on standalone venues or events.
The appearance of Avatar: Fire and Ash on the Bengaluru Metro adds to a pattern seen in recent years, where global studios and streaming platforms have utilised Indian metro networks for release-related visibility in key urban markets.
Social Media Reactions
One Bengaluru commuter wrote while sharing a video of the metro on X, “I saw a full wraparound on Bangalore Metro. Love it!”

In recent years, Indian metro systems have also featured visuals linked to titles such as Money Heist, Mirzapur, House of the Dragon and The Family Man. With Avatar: Fire and Ash now joining that list, metro networks continue to be among the public spaces where film and series-related displays have been observed across multiple Indian cities.
