- Balachandran, who founded ON PURPOSE nine years ago, will also continue as its Managing Director.
- Nandita Lakshmanan, founder of The PRactice 26 years ago, remains with the group as Founding Partner, while James and Seth serve as Managing Partners.
Girish Balachandran has been appointed Group CEO of The PRactice Group, bringing together The PRactice and ON PURPOSE under the group structure.
Balachandran announced the appointment on LinkedIn, stating, “Feeling kinda chic today as I step into the role of Group CEO of The PRactice Group, the brainchild of Zacharia James and Rishi Seth. The Group brings together The PRactice, founded 26 years ago by Nandita Lakshmanan, and ON PURPOSE, which I started 9 years ago.”
Balachandran also serves as the Managing Director of ON PURPOSE, the communications consultancy he founded nine years ago.
The PRactice was founded 26 years ago by Nandita Lakshmanan, who will continue with the group as Founding Partner. Zacharia James and Rishi Seth are the group’s Managing Partners.
Balachandran has over two decades of experience across public relations and communications. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Avian Media, Waggener Edstrom and Ketchum Public Relations, among others.
