Nepal Floods: Infosys Public Services issues update on CEO Lax Gopisetty

According to media reports, Infosys Public Services has issued a statement after its CEO, Lax Gopisetty, remained unreachable while travelling to Nepal in a personal capacity.
“We can confirm that our colleague Lax Gopisetty, who was visiting the region in a personal capacity, is currently not reachable,” Infosys said.
Infosys also said its immediate priority was to ensure Gopisetty’s safety and well-being and that it remains in close contact with his family while providing all necessary support.
The development comes amid devastating flash floods along the Nepal-Tibet border. Nepal’s disaster authority reported 626 confirmed deaths, while the number of missing people stood at 2,426.
