Practo has appointed Srijesh Kumar as its Global Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO).

In his new role, Kumar will lead the company’s product and technology teams and help drive the next stage of Practo’s growth across global markets. He will also focus on improving the experience for both patients and healthcare providers as the company continues to expand its technology platform.

Practo said the appointment comes at a time when the company is increasing the use of AI across different stages of healthcare. The aim is to build smarter systems that can improve how healthcare services are accessed, managed, and delivered.

Commenting on the appointment, Shashank ND, Founder and CEO of Practo, said technology and AI are rapidly changing the healthcare industry. He added that Kumar’s experience in building large-scale platforms and strong product expertise will help Practo strengthen its AI-driven healthcare solutions and support the company’s future growth.

As CPTO, Kumar will work on bringing product and technology teams together under a unified strategy. His responsibilities will include improving platform architecture, speeding up innovation, and using healthcare data more effectively to create better outcomes. He will also work closely with engineering, product, and data teams to add more intelligence across the platform, from discovery and decision-making to treatment and follow-ups.

Speaking about joining Practo, Kumar said he was drawn to the opportunity to solve real healthcare problems through technology. He added that building globally scalable products from India is exciting and that Practo has already shown strong potential in this area.

Kumar brings more than 20 years of experience in technology, product engineering, and leadership. Before joining Practo, he worked as Vice President at Salesforce, where he led product engineering for loyalty and marketing-related solutions. Earlier, he spent several years at Expedia Group, managing global engineering and product teams. He has also held leadership roles at Punchh and worked with Adobe and Microsoft earlier in his career.
