Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has promoted Amit Tiwari to the position of Global Head of Marketing Technology and Digital.
Tiwari shared the update on LinkedIn, expressing that his career has always been guided by the belief that strong marketing is powered by strong technology. He highlighted how this thinking shaped his professional journey and inspired his book on marketing technology. With this promotion, he said he is excited to begin a new phase where marketing and technology come together even more closely at TCS.
In his new role, Tiwari will bring together digital marketing, creative, and marketing technology teams to build a more connected and technology-driven marketing function. His focus will be on using data, AI, and advanced marketing tools to improve brand visibility, engage clients better, drive demand, and deliver measurable business growth. He will work closely with industry, service, and regional marketing teams to create a unified, AI-led marketing system that supports both new business and existing client relationships.
Amit Tiwari joined TCS in 2021 as Global Head of the Marketing Demand Center, where he led integrated marketing efforts to strengthen demand generation and build a strong global sales pipeline.
Before joining TCS, he spent over four years at Havells India Limited as Vice President – Marketing, where he played a key role in strengthening the company’s brand portfolio and business growth. Earlier, he worked with Philips India as Director – Marketing, Brand, Communication and Digital.
Known for his strong interest in marketing technology, Tiwari is widely regarded as a MarTech advocate with a passion for innovation, strategy, and driving brand and business performance.
