Datadog elevates Namit D'Cruz to Regional Vice President for India, SAARC
Namit D’Cruz to lead regional enterprise strategy as observability, security and AI adoption accelerates across South Asia

Datadog, the cloud monitoring and security company, has promoted Namit D’Cruz to Regional Vice President – Enterprise for India and the SAARC region.
With this expanded role, D’Cruz will now lead Datadog’s enterprise growth strategy across India and neighbouring SAARC markets. Earlier, he was responsible for the company’s enterprise business in southern India. His new mandate includes strengthening relationships with existing large customers and building new enterprise partnerships as demand grows for Datadog’s observability, security, and AI-enabled solutions across South Asia.
D’Cruz will also oversee the continued expansion of Datadog’s operations in India. This includes leading teams across sales, customer support, alliances and partner channels, marketing, and sales development.
Commenting on his appointment, D’Cruz said that many enterprises are now moving from testing AI to using it at scale for better customer experience, automation, and efficiency. He added that as AI systems grow more complex, visibility, control, and reliability become essential. According to him, Datadog helps organisations monitor their entire AI environment while managing costs, identifying risks, and supporting responsible AI use. He said he looks forward to working closely with customers during this next phase of digital transformation.
Rob Thorne, Vice President – APJ at Datadog, said India has emerged as a key growth market for the company, driven by strong adoption of cloud, security, and AI-led operations. He added that D’Cruz’s deep understanding of enterprise customers and the regional market will be important as Datadog continues to scale its teams, strengthen customer relationships, and drive growth across India and SAARC.
D’Cruz brings over 20 years of experience in leading large-scale cloud and digital transformation programmes across enterprises.
