Khadim Batti, co-founder and CEO of digital adoption software company Whatfix, has died at the age of 49. Multiple media reports said Batti suffered a heart attack.
Batti founded Whatfix in 2014 alongside Vara Kumar, building the company into a global B2B software business.
Beyond Whatfix, Batti was an active participant in India’s SaaS and emerging AI ecosystem. He served on the governing council of SaaSBoomi and was also a founding member of AIBoomi, a community bringing together founders and leaders building AI-focused products in India.
Reacting to the news, Avinash Raghava, CEO and founding volunteer at SaaSBoomi and a key member of the AIBoomi community, said he was deeply shocked and saddened by the passing of Khadim Batti.
“I’m deeply shocked and saddened by the passing of Khadim Batti, Co-founder of Whatfix, earlier today. I'm truly struggling to find the right words while processing this news. Khadim has been such an important part of our AIBoomi community and of the larger SaaS and AI ecosystem in India. Someone many of us have known over the years, shared rooms and conversations with, learnt from, and deeply respected. His journey with Whatfix inspired so many founders in this community. But beyond everything he built, I will remember Khadim for the person he was,” he posted.
