- During his tenure, he played a key role in expanding The Trade Desk's presence in India and focusing on the open internet.
- Prior to The Trade Desk, Dhawan held positions at JioStar, Disney+ Hotstar, and Google, accumulating over two decades of experience in digital strategy, advertising, and business development.

Dhruv Dhawan, Vice President – Revenue at The Trade Desk, is set to leave global advertising technology company, The Trade Desk. exchange4media has learnt from multiple sources.
Dhawan joined The Trade Desk in April 2025, taking charge of revenue for the company’s India business. During his stint, he worked closely with advertisers and agencies as The Trade Desk expanded its presence in the Indian market and strengthened its focus on the open internet.
Prior to joining The Trade Desk, Dhawan was with JioStar, where he was responsible for building the Markets vertical. Before the formation of JioStar, he served as Head of Ads at Disney+ Hotstar, overseeing functions including sales, strategy, go-to-market, content solutions, ad-tech operations and partnerships.
Dhawan previously spent more than nine years at Google, where he held several leadership roles and worked across sectors including telecom, BFSI, consumer packaged goods, automotive, ecommerce and retail.
Earlier in his career, he held sales and marketing leadership roles at Bharti Airtel and worked in management consulting at Accenture.
Dhawan has more than two decades of experience across digital strategy, advertising, sales, business development, marketing and consulting.
