Tejkarran Singh Bajaj has resigned and stepped down as SVP & Head- Originals at Jio Studios.
He has been leading the Originals business at Jio Studios for nearly seven and a half years, while overseeing the creative, strategic, and commercial direction of premium content across genres, languages, and platforms.
Bajaj was also responsible for driving the end-to-end originals slate spanning development, production, partnerships, licensing, and monetisation, while building the vertical into a high-impact content engine for the studio’s OTT ambitions.
Before Jio, Bajaj was with ZEE5 as Head-Original Content and overseeing content strategy, development, and execution across six languages.
He was also associated in the past with advertising agency Maxus and with NDTV.
Bajaj s next move is not yet known however there is a buzz that he May join as a CEO or in a leadership role of big content studio/company.
