  • Zee Entertainment Enterprises has appointed Tejkarran Singh Bajaj as the Business Head for Zee 5 India, effective immediately.
  • Tejkarran will be responsible for platform strategy, growth in content and consumer engagement, monetization, and partnerships, reporting to Amit Goenka.
  • Siju Prabhakaran will transition to focus on the global expansion of Zee 5 following this appointment.
  • Tejkarran brings over 20 years of experience in OTT, television, and content strategy, previously serving as Senior Vice President at Jio Studios and being part of Zee 5's founding leadership team.

Zee Entertainment  Enterprises has appointed Tejkarran Singh Bajaj as Business Head for Zee 5 India. 

Tejkarran will be leading platform strategy, driving growth across content, consumer  engagement, monetization, partnerships and the overall digital ecosystem. 

He will  be based out of the Company’s corporate office in Mumbai, and will report to Amit  Goenka, President – Digital Businesses & Platforms, International Linear Business,  Enterprise Technology and Broadcast Operations & Engineering. 

Further to the appointment, Siju Prabhakaran will transition to oversee the  expansion of Zee 5 globally.  

Tejkarran has experience of over two decades across OTT, television, branded  content, platform strategy, and audience growth. 

Previously, he was associated  with Jio Studios as Senior Vice President and Head – Originals, leading the original content business across genres, languages and OTT partnerships.  

He has been a part of the founding leadership team at Zee 5, wherein he played a  key role in shaping the platform’s early content strategy and commissioning  several successful original titles. 

Over the years, Tejkarran has also held leadership  roles at Maxus (GroupM), NDTV, Endemol India, Miditech and Essel Vision  Productions.
