Ralph Lauren has appointed Tathagat Varma as Vice President and Head of its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India. The news has been shared by Varma in a LinkedIn post.
“I'm excited to start my new job as Head of Global Capability Centre, India with Ralph Lauren. Ralph Lauren Corporation is a global leader in the design, marketing, and distribution of premium lifestyle products, including apparel, accessories, home furnishings, and other licenced product categories. For five decades, our long-standing reputation and distinctive image have been consistently developed across an expanding number of products, brands, sales channels, and international markets. We believe that our global reach, breadth of product offerings, and multichannel distribution are unique among luxury and apparel companies,” he wrote in a post.
Varma will be based out of Bengaluru.
Prior to joining Ralph Lauren, Varma served as global tech ops leader at Walmart Global Tech.
