Amandeep Singh Kochar joins Havas CX India leadership team

Havas CX India, the customer experience arm of Havas India, has appointed Amandeep Singh Kochar as Executive Vice President – Experience Strategy and Martech Head.
 
Based in Gurugram, Amandeep will report to Manas Lahiri, Chief Growth Officer, Havas India, who also oversees the Havas CX India business. In his new role, he will work closely with senior leaders across the Havas India network to position Havas CX India at the centre of client strategy discussions.
 
As part of his responsibilities, Amandeep will focus on building future-ready customer experience, marketing technology, CRM, and data analytics capabilities. He will also play a key role in strengthening the network’s go-to-market approach and enabling closer collaboration across all Havas India agencies.
 
Welcoming the appointment, David Shulman, Global CEO of Havas CX, said that brands today are increasingly bringing together communication and experience. He added that Amandeep’s leadership will help clients better understand customer needs and create meaningful experiences that match brand promises.
 
Manas Lahiri said customer experience has become central to building strong brand relationships and long-term value. He noted that as markets grow more complex, CX now brings together strategy, creativity, data, and technology. According to him, Amandeep’s mix of strategic thinking, martech expertise, and regional leadership experience will be crucial in scaling Havas CX India’s capabilities and unlocking new growth opportunities.
 
Sharing his thoughts, Amandeep said Havas India has emerged as a strong integrated network combining creativity, data, and media. He added that Havas CX India is at an important stage where these strengths are coming together with technology to deliver real business impact. He expressed excitement about working with the leadership team to build scalable CX and martech solutions that create seamless customer journeys.
 
Amandeep brings around 15 years of experience across India and Southeast Asia, working with large brands to align customer experience, brand strategy, and marketing technology. His expertise includes first-party data, personalisation, CRM, martech integration, and business transformation.
 
Before joining Havas CX India, he was with VML, where he helped develop CX and commerce capabilities across India and Southeast Asia, handling regional responsibilities from Thailand and Malaysia. He also spent time on an entrepreneurial consulting journey focused on Bharat-first brands. His experience includes working with companies such as Ford, Colgate, Mahindra, Hindustan Unilever, PepsiCo, and BAT, with notable CX projects for Ford, IDFC, and Colgate.
