HUL calls for pitch for OOH media: IPG, GroupM, Publicis in the race

Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) has put its OOH media duties on pitch. According to sources, the FMCG major would take a few weeks to finalise the pitch. The size of the account is said to be Rs 120-150 crore.
e4m has learnt that several leading agencies, including IPG, GroupM and Publicis, are among those taking part in the pitch.
The account is currently held by Rapport, the OOH division of Interpublic Group.
In Q2 FY25, HUL spent Rs 3182 crore on advertising and marketing, which was a 2% decline from the Rs 3247 crore it spent in the same quarter the previous year.
The company’s total income, meanwhile, increased 1.98%, from Rs 31,485 crore in Q2 of last year to Rs 32,109 crore in Q2 of 2024.
