Salman Khan unveils special Twitter emoji for ‘Bharat’

The special emoji can be activated with #Bharat, #BharatThisEid, #IAmBharat or #BharatWithFamily

Twitter has launched a new emoji for the Salman Khan (@BeingSalmanKhan) starrer ‘Bharat’ (@Bharat_TheFilm). The film is set to release on #Eid2019 (June 5) and the emoji will add colour to these conversations.

 

Beginning today, people in India and across the world can join in conversations encircling the film by simply tweeting with #Bharat, #BharatThisEid, #IAmBharat or #BharatWithFamily. Each time one uses any of these hashtags, the emoji will appear right next to them. Launched by Salman Khan, the emoji is inspired by the film’s titular character essayed by him, and will remain active until June 17.

Bharat (@Bharat_TheFilm) is a period drama film, written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Reel Life Productions (@ReelLifeProdn) in collaboration with Salman Khan films (SKFilmsOfficial) and T-series (@TSeries). The movie includes a star cast of Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Disha Patani (@DishPatani), Jackie Shroff (@bindasbhidu) as well as Sunil Grover (@WhoSunilGrover).

Building up excitement for the film post the trailer launch, Salman (@BeingSalmanKhan) and Katrina went live on Twitter and answered questions put forth by fans. #TeamBharatonTwitter responded to fans with the two actors providing insights on a variety of topics around the film. The live-stream received close to a million video views, with fans tweeting their questions away.
