HSBC secured four honours at the e4m Indian Digital Marketing Awards (IDMA) 2025 with campaigns that struck an emotional chord while delivering strategic impact. Three distinct campaigns won big, proving HSBC’s commitment to tell moving stories while showcasing their new launches.
The standout among HSBC’s wins was a gold in Best Digital Innovation for its ‘Homecoming’ campaign. Conceptualized by PHD Media, HSBC used a red door as a gateway for NRIs to stay connected with their roots back home, allowing for a very nostalgic and homely feel to the entire campaign. Red doors were also installed at different branches of HSBC. This not only turned heads, but also turned out to be interactive as they were filled with childhood goodies to further fuel the nostalgia.
The ‘Starstruck’ campaign bagged a silver in Leveraging Social Media to Boost Brand ROI and Engagement. As sponsors of Arijit Singh and Ed Sheeran’s India concert tour, HSBC provided credit and debit cardholders with exclusive pre-sale access and discounts, successfully amplifying reach and driving engagement.
HSBC’s ‘Festive Spends’ campaign earned a gold in Best Use of Mobile and Mobile Monetisation, as well as a silver in Best Use of Mobile to Drive Sales. The campaign offered rewards for spending between October and December 2024, where customers could earn bonus rewards, including a chance to win a MakeMyTrip voucher worth Rs 3 lakhs, an Apple iPhone 16 Pro, an Apple iPad 10 Gen, or an Amazon voucher, depending on their spending level.
The IDMA honours achievements by brands and their respective advertisement agencies by highlighting creativity, innovation, and impact in the digital society. It celebrates digital marketing excellence across categories such as Web, Mobile & Tablets, Social Media, PPC, SMB-focused efforts, and Start-up campaigns, along with Special Awards and Hall of Fame recognition.
