The exchange4media Group is back with the third edition of the exchange4media Conclave – South. The Conclave - co-powered by Colors and TikTok Ads, with MMTV as Co-Gold Sponsor and Indian Express Digital as the Lanyard Partner - is scheduled for Friday, November 22, 2019, and will be held at Taj MG Road, Bangalore. The theme of the Conclave this year is Brands & Consumers: The New Connections.

The conclave will include two panel discussions; the topic for the first panel discussion is 'Challenges in Creating Experiences & Building Relationship with Consumers'.

Big Data and analytics have been described as the new 'black gold' of the 21st century. While brands and marketers are mining data to engage with customers and elevate the consumer experience, a recent report says that nearly 69% of consumers would stop doing business with a brand if data usage became too invasive. In this scenario, how do brands utilise data and create an impactful customer experience while building the trust and emotional connection customers look for? The question we are asking is how do marketers allay the consumer's fear while continuing to build a personalised connect? How do brands ensure the insights mined do not impede on the customer's privacy? What does it take for a brand to ensure a sustained and committed relationship with its customers? With the growing influence of technology on marketing, how are brand heads navigating the role of being marketers and technologists?

The Session Chair for first panel discussion is Mohit Joshi, Managing Director – India, Havas Media Group and the panel members are Anand Bhaskaran, Head, Digital Marketing, Bigbasket; Kavita Chowkimane, VP - Marketing, Acko; Nandagopal Nair, VP & Head – Brand & Communications, V-Guard Industries; Naved Qureshi, SVP and Marketing Head, Jana Small Finance Bank; Sandeep KS, Head of Social Media, Xiaomi India and Vaishali Verma, CEO, Initiative India.

The topic for the second panel discussion is 'How to Market to a Diverse & Connected Consumer?' The panel discussion will explore the following topics: How are brands creating a differentiated brand experience across multiple touch-points to connect with the connected consumer? How are brands segmenting the TG at a time when the consumption of media has dramatically altered in the last couple of years? Are marketing strategies changing and are brands looking at multiple campaigns, as against one, to be continuously engaged with the consumer? What are the challenges in targeting consumers when disruption has become the norm? How are brands now engaging with consumers through the entire product cycle: through manufacturing, design, distribution, and even the user experience after the sale?

This panel discussion will be moderated by Kishan Kumar M S, Vice-President, Wavemaker India, and the panel members are: Amarpreet Anand, EVP & Portfolio Head, Diageo India; Diptakirti Chaudhuri, Head of Marketing, Manipal Global Education Services; Harish Narayanan, Head of Marketing, Myntra & Jabong; Jayati Singh, Global Head- Marketing, Tally Solutions; Puneet Das, Vice President Marketing - India, Tata Global Beverages and Shazia Zafar, Head - Marketing, Chumbak.
