Netflix’s advertising income is projected to surpass $8 billion by 2030 and expand more rapidly than the broader global connected TV (CTV) market, according to the latest WARC Media Platform Insights report.
The report states that Netflix’s advertising revenue surpassed $1.5 billion in 2025, more than doubling year on year, and is projected to approach $3 billion in 2026.
Instead of relying on overall market expansion, Netflix is targeting competitor share and steadily increasing its portion of connected TV advertising spend as brands redirect budgets to the platform.
Omdia (like WARC, owned by Informa) data shows Netflix is expected to capture 9.2 per cent of global CTV ad spend by 2027. That year, its ad revenue is projected to rise 58 per cent year on year, far ahead of the overall CTV market’s anticipated 9.9 per cent growth.
The findings indicate that Netflix is becoming one of the fastest-growing players in the connected TV advertising market.
