Shashi is one of the quiet institution-builders of Indian advertising.
He combines the analytical rigour of a media leader with the generosity of someone who genuinely cared about the future of the industry. Much of what the industry takes for granted today has benefitted from leaders like him who were willing to do the patient, often invisible work of institution building.
Indian advertising owes him a debt of gratitude, and I am certain his wisdom and influence will continue to guide us for many years to come.
