  • Radico Khaitan Limited has appointed Dilip K. Banthiya as Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer and elevated Saket Somani to Deputy Chief Financial Officer, effective October 28, 2026.
  • The appointments aim to enhance the company's governance and leadership, with Banthiya bringing extensive financial and industry experience to the Board and Somani expanding his role in strategy and investor relations.
  • Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director, emphasized the importance of these roles in supporting the company's premium-led growth strategy and ensuring robust financial governance.
  • Both Banthiya and Somani have significant experience in finance and the alcobev industry, with Banthiya having been with Radico Khaitan for nearly two decades and Somani for six years.

Radico Khaitan Limited, a homegrown alcobev company, today announced the appointment of Dilip K. Banthiya, Chief Financial Officer, to its Board as Whole-time Director, designated as Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer, and the elevation of Saket Somani to Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Both appointments are effective October 28, 2026.

The appointments strengthen the Company’s governance and leadership at two levels. Bringing the CFO onto the Board adds his deep financial, capital allocation and alcobev industry experience to the Company’s highest decision-making forum. At the management level, Saket’s elevation brings an expanded mandate across strategy, financial planning, investor relations, capital markets and information technology. This comes as Radico Khaitan enters its next phase of premium-led growth, stated a press release.

Commenting on the appointments, Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director, Radico Khaitan, said, “Earlier this year, we elevated leaders who have grown with Radico Khaitan. Today, we take that philosophy to the Board. Dilip has been central to our transformation, and his voice at the Board will sharpen our financial strategy and governance as we scale our premium portfolio and invest for the future. Saket brings a market-facing and technology-led approach that defines the next generation of financial leadership. Together, they give us experience at the top and depth beneath it, the foundation we need for the decade ahead.”

The new structure creates a clear division of responsibility within the finance function. The Executive Director & CFO will provide Board-level oversight on the Company’s financial direction and governance. The Deputy CFO will lead financial planning and investor engagement, and drive the wider digital transformation of the organisation. Together, the two roles strengthen a function that is central to the Company’s growth.

Dilip K. Banthiya, Executive Director & CFO, Radico Khaitan, said, “It has been a privilege to be part of Radico Khaitan’s journey for nearly two decades, as it has evolved into a premium-led spirits company with an expanding global presence. I am grateful to the Board for its confidence. Over the years, we have invested significantly in capacity, brands and capabilities while steadily strengthening our balance sheet. Going forward, my focus will be on disciplined capital allocation, robust governance and long-term value creation for all our stakeholders.”

Dilip K. Banthiya brings over 35 years of experience across corporate finance, M&A, international fund raising, equity and equity-linked offerings, treasury and risk management, and corporate restructurings. A Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he has been associated with Radico Khaitan for over 18 years. Beyond finance, he brings a deep understanding of the alcobev industry. During his tenure, he has led the Company’s finance function, strengthened governance frameworks, and guided the financing of each phase of its growth.

Saket Somani, Deputy CFO, Radico Khaitan, said, “I am grateful to the leadership for this opportunity. Over the past six years, I have had the privilege of working across the breadth of the finance function, from manufacturing finance and internal controls to operational performance and investor relations. Our aim now is to make finance a true strategic partner to the business, using technology and data to enable better-informed decisions. I look forward to working closely with Mr. Banthiya and the leadership team to support Radico Khaitan’s growth and global ambitions.”

Saket Somani brings around 20 years of experience across corporate finance, strategy, capital markets, investor relations and investment banking. A Chartered Accountant, he joined Radico Khaitan in 2020 and most recently served as Senior Vice President – Finance & Strategy. In this role, he has overseen financial planning and control, working capital, and the evaluation of capital projects and new business opportunities. He has also worked closely with the leadership on strategy, particularly growth and portfolio priorities, and led the Company’s investor relations programme, deepening engagement with institutional investors and enhancing its capital market visibility.
