Info Edge (India) names Himanshu Agarwal as Whole-time Director & CFO

Info Edge (India) Ltd. has announced changes to its leadership, including the appointment of Naresh Chand Gupta as an Additional Director (Independent) and Himanshu Agarwal as Chief Financial Officer and Additional Director.

Himanshu Agarwal assuming office as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company, Ambarish Raghuvanshi’s tenure as Interim Chief Financial Officer will conclude with effect from the close of business hours on September 16, 2026. Raghuvanshi will continue to be associated with the Company as Finance Advisor till October 31, 2026, and will provide advisory support during the transition period.

Naresh Chand Gupta has been appointed as an Additional Director (Independent Category) of the Company with effect from October 1, 2026. He is proposed to be appointed as a Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company for a term of five consecutive years, with effect from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2031 (both days inclusive), subject to the approval of shareholders and other applicable statutory approvals, if any.

Naresh Chand Gupta is a designated partner in Accuracap Technologies LLP, Chief Scientist in Accuracap Consultancy Services Private Limited, and serves as an Independent Director on the boards of eClerx Services Limited and NoPaperForms Solutions Limited. In the past, he has held the position of Managing Director at Adobe Systems India Private Limited and served as an Independent Director on the board of Affle (India) Limited (presently known as Affle 3i Limited). He has also served as an Independent Director on the board of the Company till March 31, 2023. He has experience in the fields of leadership, business management, technology and fund management.

Himanshu Agarwal will join the Company as its Chief Financial Officer (Key Managerial Personnel) and Additional Director with effect from September 17, 2026 and his appointment as Whole-time Director of the Company for a term of five consecutive years, i.e. from September 17, 2026 to September 16, 2031, is subject to the approval of shareholders and other applicable statutory approvals, if any.

Himanshu Agarwal has over three decades of experience in finance leadership, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation across listed organisations in India and internationally.

Ambarish Raghuvanshi, who has been serving as the Company’s Interim Chief Financial Officer (Interim CFO) since November 20, 2025, will complete his tenure as Interim CFO with effect from the close of business hours on September 16, 2026, consequent to Himanshu Agarwal assuming office as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer with effect from September 17, 2026.

Raghuvanshi will continue to be associated with the Company as Finance Advisor till October 31, 2026 and will provide advisory support as may be required during the transition and handover period.

Raghuvanshi has played an important role in ensuring continuity and stability during the transition period. The Company and the Board of Directors place on record their deep appreciation of Mr. Raghuvanshi’s significant contributions to the Company during his tenure as Interim CFO.
