- Campus Activewear has appointed Rakesh Thakur as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), integrating him into the company's Key Managerial Personnel (KMP).
- Thakur has nearly 23 years of experience in consumer businesses, previously serving as Group CFO at boAt and holding senior roles at Hindustan Unilever and GSK Consumer Healthcare.
- In his new role, he will collaborate with the leadership team to enhance financial governance, capital efficiency, and support the company's growth strategy.
- Both Thakur and CEO Nikhil Aggarwal expressed optimism about his contributions to strengthening financial discipline and driving sustainable growth for Campus Activewear.
Campus Activewear has appointed Rakesh Thakur as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), making him part of the company’s Key Managerial Personnel (KMP).
Thakur brings nearly 23 years of experience across leading consumer businesses. In his new role, he will work with the leadership team and Board to strengthen financial governance, improve capital efficiency and support the company’s next phase of profitable growth.
Rakesh brings extensive experience across business finance, profitable growth, transformation, supply chain finance, governance and M&A and integration. Before joining Campus Activewear, he served as Group Chief Financial Officer at boAt (Imagine Marketing Limited).
Prior to boAt, Rakesh held senior leadership roles at Hindustan Unilever and GSK Consumer Healthcare, where he led initiatives across finance transformation, integration, business restructuring and supply chain strategy. Earlier, he worked with Samsung India and PepsiCo India, gaining experience across large-scale consumer businesses.
