Jio BlackRock Investment Advisers Private Limited, the joint venture between Jio Financial Services Limited and BlackRock Inc., has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Madhurita Sengupta as Chief Marketing Officer.
In her new role, Sengupta will be responsible for shaping the company’s brand strategy, driving customer engagement, and leading digital marketing efforts. Her focus will be on supporting JioBlackRock’s goal of building an investor-friendly wealth and advisory platform tailored for the Indian market.
Madhurita brings close to 20 years of experience across marketing, digital growth, and customer experience. She is known for combining technology-driven thinking with deep expertise in financial services, helping organisations build trust and long-term relationships with customers in a fast-changing digital environment.
During her career, she has held senior leadership positions at Amazon Web Services, DBS Bank, Vodafone India, and HSBC. In these roles, she led key initiatives in brand development, customer experience design, and data-led marketing, helping companies move from short-term marketing efforts to more personalised and meaningful customer engagement.
At JioBlackRock Investment Advisers, her priority will be to create a strong, purpose-driven brand that aligns with the firm’s mission of making quality investment advice more accessible, clear, and easy to understand for investors across India.
Madhurita holds an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys exploring different cultures, keeping up with technology trends, and listening to Hindustani classical music.
