Branch International, a non-banking financial company (NBFC), has appointed Sricheta Das as Head of Marketing for its India operations.
In her new role, Sricheta will be responsible for shaping and leading the overall marketing strategy for Branch in India. Her focus will be on attracting new customers, improving customer retention, and supporting the company’s growth in the personal loans space. She will work closely with the product, analytics, and credit teams to strengthen Branch’s market positioning, drive steady expansion, and ensure marketing efforts deliver long-term business value.
Sharing her thoughts on joining Branch, Sricheta said she is excited to be part of the company at an important stage of its growth in India. She highlighted Branch’s strong global footprint as a licensed bank in Kenya and a regulated lending NBFC in Nigeria, along with its fast-growing presence in India. She added that the opportunity to help build a digital-first, technology-led, and customer-focused credit platform powered by machine learning and designed to serve underserved customers was a key reason for her decision. She looks forward to supporting Branch’s mission to offer responsible and accessible lending solutions across the country.

Sricheta brings more than ten years of experience in India’s financial services and fintech sector. She has previously worked in senior roles at companies such as Bajaj Finance and KreditBee, where she helped drive growth across different stages of business expansion. Her background covers marketing, business strategy, product development, and customer acquisition, with strong expertise in scaling personal loan platforms.
