- He has over five years of experience at Cipla, most recently serving as Chief Commercial Head for the India Business.

Gaurav Kaul has been appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cipla Health, effective October 2026. He moves into the role after over five years with Cipla.
Kaul most recently served as Chief Commercial Head – Rx, India Business at Cipla, where he led the company’s India commercial operations across a portfolio spanning acute and chronic therapies. He was responsible for a 15,000+ crore business and a 12,000+ strong organisation, according to his profile.
Before this, Kaul was Chief Commercial Head – Respiratory at Cipla, leading the category’s P&L. During his tenure, Cipla’s respiratory portfolio held the top position in the Indian Pharmaceutical Market, while he also worked on patient-centric initiatives and consumer campaigns.
Kaul joined Cipla in 2021 after a career spanning consumer healthcare and sales roles. He spent nearly eight years with GSK Consumer Healthcare India, holding leadership positions including General Manager – West and East, General Manager – Pharmacy, and Head Sales for India and Sri Lanka at Novartis Consumer Healthcare.
Earlier, he spent nearly five years at Cadbury, where he held roles across shopper and customer marketing and branch sales.
