CVL Srinivas, Country Manager of WPP India, and one of the most influential leaders in the Indian advertising and media sector, will be retiring on March 31. Industry leaders have been sharing their Srini stories, and today we have the Ogilvy India trio - Kainaz Karmakar, Sukesh Nayak and Harshad Rajadhyaksha - share why we may see CVL as tabla player soon.
We've known Srini for years and he has been a great support to all of us. A champion of transformation, he has been a quiet force leading change.
If you spend an evening with Srini you will realise he has a great sense of humour and some very cool stories.
Retiring from WPP means he will have more time to pursue his passion of playing the tabla. So, while we will miss him we will probably continue to see him, this time as a tabla player on the stage.
