FMCG major Dabur India Ltd has recently appointed OgilvyAction, the experiential and promotional marketing arm of Ogilvy & Mather, to execute its rural activation campaign targeting 1 lakh women in over 5,000 villages and towns in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Madhya Pradesh newspaper market is seeing a slew of launches this month. A couple of days back, Hello Hindustan had announced the launch of a daily afternooner compact from Indore city. Now, daily newspaper, Rashtriya Hindi Daily, has revealed its expansion plans in the state. With back-to-back launches in Gwalior, Indore, Raipur, Jabalpur and Sagar, the newspaper is set to strengthen its footprint in the state.
Hindi afternoon compact daily ‘Hello Hindustan’ is all set to launch its first edition from Indore (Madhya Pradesh) in the last week of October this year. With 16 pages, the daily is priced at Rs 1 for the entire week. The afternooner will cover 20 districts surrounding the Indore city. Praveen Sharma has been appointed Editor of the newspaper.
With a presence in six states in the country and 25 editions nationwide, the Patrika Group is looking for further expansions in 2010.
