  • SBICAP Securities Ltd. has appointed Bhuvaneshwari A. as its new Managing Director and CEO, effective November 1, 2025.
  • Bhuvaneshwari has over 30 years of experience with the State Bank of India, having held various key positions, including General Manager at SBI's Corporate Centre and Chief General Manager of the Thiruvananthapuram Circle.
  • In her new role, she aims to transform SBICAP Securities into a digital-led, customer-first investment services company, focusing on technology enhancement and customer engagement.
  • Bhuvaneshwari holds a Postgraduate degree in Public Administration and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers and a Certified Financial Planner.
SBICAP Securities Ltd. (SSL), a subsidiary of the State Bank of India, has named Bhuvaneshwari A. as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1, 2025.
 
A long-time SBI professional, Bhuvaneshwari brings over 30 years of experience to the role. She began her career as a Probationary Officer in 1994 and has since taken on several key responsibilities across the bank.
 
At SBI’s Corporate Centre, she worked as General Manager – Redesign Studio, where she led major initiatives to improve operations and enhance both customer and employee experiences. In her most recent role as Chief General Manager of the Thiruvananthapuram Circle, she managed more than 1,200 branches, driving growth in retail credit, deposits, and overall market share.
 
Speaking about her new position, Bhuvaneshwari said:
 
“I am honoured to lead SBICAP Securities at this important stage. With the SBI Group’s strong legacy of trust and innovation, my goal is to transform SBICAP Securities into a digital-led, customer-first investment services company. We will enhance our technology, expand our offerings, and build deeper customer connections. We also aim to make research accessible to every investor and empower our teams to deliver better service, all while upholding the highest standards of governance and transparency.”
 
Bhuvaneshwari holds a Postgraduate degree in Public Administration, is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers, and is also a Certified Financial Planner.
