Samsonite South Asia has announced the role advancement of Anushree Tainwala as Chief Business Officer & Executive Director – Samsonite South Asia – India & Middle East. The executive move consolidates leadership across South Asia and 28 Middle Eastern markets into a single growth vision led by Ms Tainwala, stated a release.
The strategic mandate brings the complete consumer and commercial ecosystem under a unified vision, integrating key operational verticals - including overall brand strategy, product portfolio management, marketing and communications, e-commerce, physical retail, in-store consumer experience, and organisational digital transformation that have historically functioned as independent departments.
Moving beyond current commercial operations, her role focuses on proactively shaping where future revenue engines will emerge. This broad responsibility involves continually identifying changing consumer habits, evolving brand portfolio positioning, introducing innovative product lines, opening new sales channels, reimagining physical and digital retail store concepts, and ensuring the overarching organisation maintains the technical, operational, and structural capabilities required to scale alongside shifting market demands.
