Sanjay Rao has formally announced his joining Bata India as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. He moves to the footwear major after more than four years at Nike.
Rao most recently served as Senior Director, Nike Retail – France & Benelux at Nike.
He shared on LinkedIn, “Thank you Team Bata and partners for the warm welcome; and thanks Team Nike for the wonderful opportunities to lead & learn, and the cherished memories!”
Before joining Nike, Rao worked with companies including GUESS?, Inc., Inditex, The TJX Companies, Inc. and Citi.
