Kimberly-Clark has appointed Jonathan Halvorson as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), following the completion of its acquisition of consumer health company Kenvue.
He moves into the position from his previous role as Chief Digital and Marketing Officer at Kenvue. His appointment comes as the two companies begin integrating their businesses following the acquisition.
The leadership transition had been signalled earlier on October 1, when Kimberly-Clark announced a series of planned executive changes. The company said Russ Torres would move to an external CEO role, while North America President John Carmichael would hand over his position to Carlos De Jesus.
At the time, Kimberly-Clark said De Jesus would work closely with Halvorson, who was identified as the company's incoming Chief Marketing Officer.
