- He will report to Mohit Malhotra, the Whole-time Director and Global CEO of the company.
- Bhalla has over 25 years of experience in commercial and general management, previously holding roles at The Hershey Company and Unilever.

In this role, he will report to Mohit Malhotra, Whole-time Director and Global Chief Executive Officer of the company.
“We wish to inform that Mr. Herjit S. Bhalla has joined the Company as "Chief Executive Officer- India Business" in the category of Senior Management Personnel of the Company with effect from Thursday, April 23, 2026. He shall report to Mr. Mohit Malhotra, Whole-time Director and Global Chief Executive Officer of the Company”, the BSE filing stated.
Prior to this, Herjit S Bhalla served as a global executive at The Hershey Company.
Bhalla brings over 25 years of deep commercial and general management experience across diverse geographies and business contexts. Between 2000 and 2016, he worked with Unilever in Sales and Marketing areas with increasing responsibilities.During 2009-12, he was appointed as Marketing Director in Moscow, Russia in Unilever.
During 2016-17, Bhalla worked as Chief Operating Officer for Metro Cash & Carry where he was also Director in the Executive Board of Directors. In 2018, he joined The Hershey Company as Managing Director for India. Since then, he has continued with Hershey, taking over global roles since 2021 as VP India & AEMEA, VP Canada and AMEA and currently as VP Canada & Global Customers.
