BARC Week 35: Kaun Banega Crorepati 11 enters top 5 list in Hindi GEC Urban category
Sony Pictures Network dominates the Hindi GEC Urban category with three shows in the top 5 list

Dangal has taken the top spot yet again with 905525 impressions in week 35. That’s an upward trend as in week 34, the channel had recorded 860070 impressions as per BARC data. Rest of the pecking order has all been the same except for SET and ZEE TV which swapped places this time around. While SET moved up one step to the fifth position with 687497 impressions, ZEE TV slipped to number 6 with 673935 impressions.
In the Hindi GEC category (U+R), Dangal is still undisputed with 900631 impressions followed by Star Plus. Here too SET and ZEE TV swapped places for the third and fourth positions. Rest of the order is similar to week 34.
In the top 5 programs category, ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ have retained their first and second spots with 14577 and 13621 impressions. ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ and ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ make up for the rest of the positions and in that order.
Star Plus continues to be the leader in this category with 496541 impressions followed by SET with 478906 impressions. SET has managed to stay put in the second spot after gaining it in week 34. It coincided with ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’’s new season airing. Rest of the order is same as the previous week except for Star Utsav which slipped from number 8 to number 10.
The top 5 program category sees the entry of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ season 11 in the fifth position with 6898 impressions. ‘Yeh Rishta Kehlata Hai’ retains the top spot with 8902 impressions. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ takes the second place, followed by ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmaa’ and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
Dangal obviously reigns supreme here with 678754 impressions. SET has also climbed one spot in this category as well. It moved up from the seventh to sixth position with 187120 impressions. Rest of the order has remained the same.
The top 5 programme category saw a bit of shuffling with ‘Mahima Shanidev ki’ taking the first spot with 187120 impressions, pushing ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ down to number two followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’, ‘Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ke’ and ‘Dwarkadheesh Bhagwan Sri Krishna’.
