Renowned journalist and political personality Pritish Nandy passed away on Wednesday at 73. He suffered a cardiac arrest, which was confirmed by his son, filmmaker Kushan Nandy.
A cultural icon, Nandy’s passing is a huge blow to India’s media fraternity, which has poured out tributes in the memory of the courageous journalist.

He died today in Mumbai due to heart attack.
He was a game changer.
