Adani Group has acquired the remaining stake in Indo-Asian News Service (IANS).

In a regulatory filing, Adani Enterprises Limited said that AMNL completed the acquisition following a share purchase agreement signed on January 22, 2026. As part of the transaction, AMNL purchased 24% of IANS’s voting shares along with 0.74% of its non-voting shares.

With this deal, IANS will now function as a fully owned unit of AMG Media Networks and, indirectly, under Adani Enterprises, the flagship company of the Adani Group.

The acquisition is valued at around ₹47 million and was completed through a cash transaction. The company noted that the purchase was carried out on an arm’s length basis, indicating that the terms were determined according to standard commercial practices.
