Kedar Ravangave, Head of Marketing – Consumer and Commercial Banking at Kotak Mahindra Bank, has added another milestone to his endurance journey by completing the Ironman Subic Bay triathlon in the Philippines.
With this achievement, Ravangave has now completed Ironman races across four continents, joining a select group of endurance athletes who have taken on the iconic challenge around the world.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Ravangave reflected on the lessons that come with pursuing ambitious goals.
"I thought big goals would change what I wanted from life. They don't," he wrote.
Despite achieving one of the world's most demanding endurance feats, Ravangave said the things he values most remain unchanged: time, health, family, nature and meaningful work.
"Success doesn't change the destination. It just makes the signal clearer," he added.
An experienced marketing leader, Ravangave joined Kotak Mahindra Bank in 2024 after a successful stint at Amazon, where he led several key brand and marketing initiatives.
The Ironman triathlon is considered one of the toughest one-day endurance events globally, comprising a 3.8-km swim, 180-km cycling course and a full marathon of 42.2 km.
Ravangave's latest accomplishment underscores a growing trend of corporate leaders embracing endurance sports, demonstrating that high performance extends beyond the boardroom and into personal pursuits that demand discipline, resilience and consistency.
